AEROSPACE CONTRACT

This activity requires the teams to come up with a ‘prototype’ of an aircraft, the specification of which is based  on some tender documents. However some aspects are unwritten and therefore requires the team to probe the actual need of the customer. The teams that produces a prototype that is closes to the one in the mind of the customer shall be the winner. Therefore this activity teaches participants to know and undertsand customer needs and requirements.

MIXED WEDDING

This activity involves information gathering and mental processing. Its demonstrates the influence of social conditioning and how it affects our perception. In this activity participants are given strips of information / statement that states facts about the ‘wedding’. The task is to complete the information sheet given to each team. The task is to complete the information sheet given to each team. The team can only complete the task if they process their thoughts based on the facts given and not personal preference or expectation

THE INSIDER

This activity requires participants to take turns to view a 'maze' and fill in the missing portions in their copy. Each team member will have an envelope stating their job function and they have to carry out that task. The team will also be informed of the existence of an "Insider", a person who might want to sabotage the team.

AIR TERRORIST

This activity involves participants to sit in a ‘flight’ formation. The sceanario of a plane hijack is given an the participants task is to help the authorities to save them. In order to land the plane safely they must first break the terrorists communication code. This activity requires participants to communicate as a team. It also highlight the importance of understanding ‘The Big Picture’.
